October, what a month!!

Hi there family and friends,

My Nail Salon in Havelock North is doing great, business is growing and the Pharmacy is looking good. The girls made me work very hard at the pharmacy since the increase in GST on 1 October.

It has been a while but I was very busy. I had birthday in October but decided to go away for a weekend to Taupo and not have a party. Our wedding gift from Michael and Emma Bate (Jeff's attorney) came very handy. It was an amazing weekend. We discovered so many beautiful places (some photos attached). Thanks to Annette and Barry for accompanying us, great company.

Jeff and I went to Wellington to the 20th Anniversary of the 1990 Intake of the National Members of Parlament - I believe the largest in history. See Group photo at Bellamys. It was an amazing weekend. Tony Ryall- Minister of Health, Michael Laws and the Acting Prime Minister & Minister of Finance Bill English were all there and so down to earth including their wives. We enjoyed and had so much fun the Friday night at the Dinner and lunch the following day. We've taken so much beautiful photos but unfortunately cannot show you as our Car was broken into the early hours of the Sunday morning and both our cameras were stolen in a "secure" parking area at The Wellington Club. Everything was on camera but the THIEF wore a hoody. This was very sad for me, I cried as those photos can never be replaced and all depended on our photos for distribution.
